Sometimes when it comes to presents, I still prefer that I do not receive one. Do you know why? You can say that I'm very picky, particular or a difficult person but I can only say 1 thing, all the presents I received are really not what I like or prefer. I can only say that this is a very sad thing. It can either say this person can't be bothered to know what I like or that person simply can't be bothered as long as they have a gift for you.

So far, Christie's gifts are the most thoughtful. She knows what I like and prefer. ^^ Aww I miss Christie's gifts.

Everytime I heard people say, "It's the thought that counts". I really think this is bullshit. And you may be wondering why am I so harsh in saying that? If you can't even get a decent present for someone, where will you have "the thoughts that counts"

I think I regretted spending so much $$ on buying too good presents. I even spent the whole day looking the whole of JP2 just to look for the presents. I think so far a Pierre Cardin Wallet and a Towel is something useful. The rest like the auntie bag, Phuket souvenir and a bar of chocolate is the worst I have ever received.

And I can tell you 1 thing for sure, only AUNTIES give Phuket souvenir as presents because they can't be bothered. According to my friend, it was very cheap in Thailand, probably less than $1 SINGAPORE DOLLARS. To think that I spend almost $10 for her present. Tsk.

My friend was also no better. She was told that she had to spend $30 each on 3 presents, please note also by 2 aunties. She bought the knitted cat pouch (the real stuff), crabtree & evelyn set and another one a set of beauty products. She definitely regretted buying that for them because this is what she get in return: A stupid small gold pouch which the auntie said is branded but only if you look inside, two TY bears and 1 photo frame. =.= I HATE PHOTO FRAMES!

Anyway to summarize my story, let's start with "the moral of the story is" do not buy too good stuff especially for aunties unless you can be sure that she is a "MODERN AUNTIE" if not don't be bothered to think about their present, just grab anything for them from the supermarket or "mini maini mini mo".

Another advice for to-be wedded women or mothers, PLEASE DO NOT BE SO STINGY WHEN IT COMES TO GIFTS. Choosing the RIGHT GIFT IS WHAT THE THOUGHTS THAT COUNTS.

Today was a cold and peaceful day. I should take this day off to let my skin rest because the harsh air-con is making my skin dry.

I'm sure most of us have been watching "The Little Nyoya" faithfully. It has been quite exciting till now but I know it's ending soon. I was been asked by 2 people the same question, "Are all Nyoyas that bad and scheming?" Haha. I'm sure this is just a show and should not reflect the character of Peranakans.

I think tomorrow I shall make a trip alone to Isetan Private Sale and take a look at any nice discounts on items worth the purchase.

The first episode of Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn was a hilarious one. I recommend those who have not laughed for ages to catch this anime!

I thought that I had so much to write but suddenly I'm just out of words on what to write....Must be my bad memory...

So many to-dos in my queueing list~ So many wants~

I think the star-wars animation done by LucasFilm Singapore was quite well-done and professional. Too bad I'm not a fan of star-wars heh.

It seems every year of December when Christmas is around, the atmosphere is so different, i just feel so serene. Seeing the christmas tree in the office, the cold weather, buying Christmas gifts, so peaceful...

Something worth mentioning. I saw the news that a Taiwanese doctor could actually lose 12kg of weight in 40 DAYS! Incredible! That is even faster than slimming centres! The main point to lose weight is "Less Oil, Less Salt and Less Sugar". I think I'm going to learn from him by eating Japanese food everyday...but I'll be broke if I do that..Hmm but come to think of it, if you can save more for eating Japanese food than going to slimming centre, why not right?

This month of december is what I consider the most busiest. Not busy with work, but busy with meet-ups and shopping. I went with my nurse friend who was looking for her ROM shoe and it was hell of a slimming session. We went from Far East to Tangs to Takashima-ya to Wisma Atria to Vivo City. I had never walked that long man! Worse is that the shoe I'm wearing is not that comfortable as I thought it would be. I think it's good for me because I wanted to slim down haha. However, in the end she still did not get her shoe T.T

Today, I became the housekeeper (only for my room hehe). Spent the whole morning and afternoon cleaning up the necessary.
I never thought that washing these "toys" was so tiring. If you are not sure how to wash these toys, I have a manual for you haha.

Haha...recently came across this japanese character that I very much like it alot. If you have tuned in arts central before and seen some of the 5min short films on this character, you should know what I'm referring to. Wahhh...I have managed to finish the first phase of design changes for my Sunday. It's still not complete yet, I'm going to add in more widgets for the side menu but haven't decided what to add. I will do some research to get the nicest widgets.

If you take a look closely, There are two crowns on 2 guys. They are my favourites in the band. Miku (with shades) is the vocal and Takuya is the guitar player. Omg they are sooooo SHUAI and CUTE! The other 2 at the side you can ignore haha!

Antic Cafe is somehow different from other Visual Kei bands as they have somewhat brought in a little "cuteness" to their style. So you won't be expecting very gross and very noisy images and music such as the Gazette (which is so far the most popular in all of the Visual Kei bands because it's gross and noisy enough). If you have seen Gazette's PV, it's very disgusting~ I don't intend to describe to you but I can give you some keywords to what I mean by gross: blood, hospital, operation....

Nyappy!

Finally my exams are over. However, this is not the time to relax. I started work immediately so as to earn more $$. It's damm sh**ty to hear that I was unable to switch my studies to part-time because they said I applied "LATE" =.= DAMM IT!!! Now I need to spend more $$ again to study another extra module which was exempted for the part-time course ARHHHH!

The most unpredictable is I'm not even sure if I do request to switch to part-time, will they approve? If they don't approve, then I will be stuck studying full-time which I WILL NOT ALLOW! I'm not going to spend $10k more for this stupid thing. If I do fail either one of the modules for this exam, I will decide to quit this degree course. But I really feel like quitting. Maybe I will try to ask what are the chances of switching to part-time. If the chances of switching is low, then I will just quit right away.

The hotel was damm high class. Will recommend it to anyone who wants to stay overnight at orchard! It is a very good location as it is just behind orchard cineleisure and beside takashimaya. The only thing is that there's no scenery in the room I'm given.

I was so intrigued by this fake iphone that Yuxuan bought last time. Was so eager to try out to see how good it is compared to the real iphone.





It's much thicker and the touch screen is definitely not as good as the real one. They even have an antenna to listen to radio and watch tv!

Went to Marina Barrage with Meiling, Yuxuan and Chern chern, took some photos of the place. A good hangout place at night for families.

Arhhhhgggg...These three weeks of exams was difficult to get through. I think I rather work than study at home T.T. It's suffocating for me to study when it comes to exams! Ahhh I hate exams.

I also hate exams because I became FATTER! T.T One probable reason is because while studying, I tend to eat between study breaks and this is what you get after 3 weeks, a rounder face and plus 1-2 kgs to your weight. So don't be surprised if you see my round face, Ann lee was already asking what happened to me T.T

After leaving school for so long, my brain seems to get rusty. No matter how much I study, I just can't get the theory inside the brain! S***. I think I'm really not suitable to study at the last minute any more, when I was in poly, I don't seem to have a problem studying last minute.

Ok now I must get pumped up to go for exercises and NO JUNK, NO SUPPER! I want to go back to work so I can SLIM DOWN!!!!!

.....Back to studies again...>.< I have accounting for my last exam. GAMBATTEE!!!

以前警察穿短裤。 That is what I always hear from my colleague in the office when I keep telling her what admin procedures that I know from the past. So many things have changed since the day I stopped my admin tasks. Sometimes, it is just a habit. Whenever I am telling her the admin procedures or I saw any new changes to the procedures I will always tell her, "以前是。。。“ and she will always rebuke back "以前警察穿短裤啦". =.=

I was awoke because of my mum's loud voice, that's her...she is always speaking very loudly. As I was still lazing in the bed, I suddenly thought of all the good times I had in my secondary school life. Although there are also unhappy times, the teachers, my friends during that time had really made an impression on my memories. I had this thought of visiting my school somehow....

I'm not sure if you guys out there are the same as me...I always like to reminisce, compare the past from the present. Probably because I'm not someone who can accept changes easily. When you are in poly, u think about how you enjoyed your secondary school life, when you are working, you think about how relaxed it is in poly life. Probably when I'm married, I will be thinking about how good it is to be single haha.

Was looking at some tutorials during my office hours and experimented with some photo manipulation. I think it looks okay for my first attempt hehe.

Oh my I was damm too lucky. I DROPPED my mac wireless mouse TWICE (the 2nd time part of the cover came off but was rescued by my father) and it SURVIVED. Thank goodness, I thought I have lost my mighty mouse and I will definitely be devastated because it costs me a bomb!

I just realised 1 bad point about getting a mac, and that is you can't get much free software around. Was searching for free psp video converter and HOW COME ONLY WINDOWS HAS IT FOR FREE AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR MAC VERSION? =.=

I wanted to put my favourite an cafe video inside my PSP hoping that I can watch it everyday. It's already been my habit to listen to their songs EVERYDAY. I just can't get their songs out of my mind! What to do~ I'm now obsessed with them, I can't live without them~~

I think I must be crazy. I keep asking yuxuan whether she wants to watch the movie I have always wanted to watch when I was ranting about it after I came back from my Taiwan trip. And she keeps saying "No No No.." and also giving me the weird expression like "o.O Erm...are you sure is nice? I don't think so.."



Yes! The lead actor was the one on my blog layout YAMAPIII. Finally after 6 months when I saw the advertisement in Taiwan but I think it was so unpopular that it was only screened in Orchard Cineleisure.

The reason why I only asked Yuxuan was because she is someone i know who was closest to even knowing who is "Yamapi". Of course she is not a fan of his but still I really can't find anyone who likes watching Jap Movie. Imagine me asking you who knows nothing about Yamapi:

Me: Hey, want to watch a Jap movie. It's by a very popular Japanese idol call Yamapi.
Friend: (Giving me a weird expression, o.O) Who is that?

Diao~ So you know what I mean right. It's like I'm from another planet and I feel like kind of "out of place" and I think if I talk further I will be outcasted in no time.

.......Probably I think I have no choice but to ask my sister to watch with me a 2nd time then...Haha I think she don't mind since Yamapi is her favourite idol haha.

Arhhhggg I can't SLEEP!! I'm deprived of sleep but still I CAN'T FORCE myself to sleep. Probably because I have too much things on my mind, exams coming and I'm worried that I can't finish revising everything, was feeling abit guilty about buying things online again >.< and even reserved a Levis Jeans because of the Isetan Private Sale. Was too addicted to An Cafe's songs that I practically have to listen to it everyday. AHHHHHHH, why is my mind STILL SO ACTIVE!!!!???

They said that people who has sleepless nights is because they think too much >.< Not only is it bad for health, you do not wake up feeling refreshed at all, in fact, more like a walking corpse.

Recently, I have been influenced by my sis on J-rock Culture. J-rock, in my first impression, is not something that I will be interested in. But my sister's enthusiasm make me try looking into the videos and photos she downloaded.

Her favourite J-rock band was Alice Nine. More of a visual-kei J-rock band. They are definitely very well-dressed in every performance, and the most obvious difference from the normal guys is they trimmed their eyebrows and put makeup especially on the eyes. Those who are exposed first time to visual-kei will feel very odd or think they are "gays". Lol.

This is the singer Shou from the band Alice Nine. (See his eyebrows!!)



Unfortunately, I don't really like their songs. However, my sister is not all obsessed only on Alice Nine. I think her free time is to also search for other J-rock bands she finds interesting until she came across An Cafe.

Yea...Their songs are nice! Although their appearance can be quite difficult to accept for us "normal guys". Their songs are "cute" which caters to the young ladies audience. And holly S**t, the singer looks like a girl! When I saw the PV from An Cafe, my eyes was all on the singer because "he" was simply too CUTE. If he was born a girl, he definitely is going to be so kawaiii.. Some may think that he is a "ren yao" haha.

Today I have been feeling kind of emo, I don't feel like talking to anyone else. Probably because after I knew my OB assignment was just a Pass Grade. I kept thinking a lot of things, suddenly I felt very bored, think school is bored because the people there are boring, life is bored because I have to keep thinking about $$, have to control my spending habits, the school curriculum is boring because it's dry, even more disappointing after I got my results. Of course as the lecturer said, it's not the end of the world. That's true, but I think some times, you will always have some gloomy days.

While in the state of being emo, I was feeling so awed by the drawings in the new manga by Nagamu Nanaji that my sister borrowed. The drawings were so pretty ~~ Looking at her artwork makes me feel so tempted to start drawing which I had stopped for quite some time. It made me want to go into deviant art to look at those beautiful pictures done by many artists. You can say design is really a stimulant for me. Just by looking at it, I can go to heaven. Haha.

Was thinking about some stuff while on the journey back home. Recently, my mind was revolving around the topic of friends. Not just "friends" but friends already attached. Come to think of it, last last last time I really have a very good friend in secondary school, but probably after having attached, it seems like we didn't really follow up much and I don't really have the kind of "authority or standing" to ask her out because there's always the "not free...." reason. =.=

So been more clever now, I decided that I will only WAIT for her to ask me out rather than I ask her out. I even COURIER her birthday present because I know that if I keep it and wait for her to meet me sometime, it's gonna be forever and ever.

And this is not 1 case I'm talking about, I had another friend who was also the same, and another of my sis's friend who was also the same.........Anyway, I not trying to be unreasonable "SINGLE" person here, I just feel that maybe friendship isn't really that important when it comes to our age, when they only have time for their "darlings" and shut themselves from the rest. (Sorry if I offended anyone who read this post, this is only my personal feeling and should not affect any of you)

Hopefully I will not become someone like that if I do have a "darling", hopefully..., but you never know...it might just be very unexpected, probably blinded by love.

Anyway, here's something I came out which I thought of it in the bus ^^, hope you can understand what it means haha.

Arghhhh,,,,Finally I've finished my group assignment. As expected, there's always some disagreement over certain issues, probably caused by the pressure you get when rushing for submission. I think after this assignment, we had differentiated ourselves between the guys in the group, or you can say: Battle between the sexes! I think it's just the way girls are, we always panic whereas guys seems so cool (which was interpreted by girls as unconcerned and they don't care!).

No more group projects!!!! I keep wanting to say that the guys in our group are use*le**! Even sharon was commenting that they act like 15 year old kids haha (was laughing over this comment)! 1 guy was erm... We*r*, another was ogling at girls *shakes head* I really want to bash him when he said, why he can't be with the other girls who are prettier..=.=

Maybe I can't really blame them? Because one just came out from NS and one was abit We*r*? They are not even gentlemanly! Even the guys in my office know how to act like a GENTLEMAN! *shake head again*

Anyway, the semester ended so fast...soon I will be taking my examinations. Hopefully I get transferred to the part-time course AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I don't want to work with these guys again =.=

Went to the flyer again; my 2nd trip (except that it's in the daytime) to accompany my aunt's daughter from Indonesia. She was going to stay in Singapore for quite some time as she will be taking English classes before she try applying for Poly next year.

Not as crowded as I expected, probably because it's not a peak hour. But my feel is that, people will only take the Singapore Flyer when the IR is out so that you probably have more scenery to see rather than one big patch of construction site which I can see lotsa cranes haha.

I'm not sure if I had posted this before but Japanese handphones are Cool~ I wished I owned a Docomo phone. Can watch very clear and crisp video resolution and the camera is damm superb! As expected from the Japanese.
